- Lead internal audits and implement robust financial controls
- Develop detailed cash flow projections and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and filing deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing full accounting cycles for medium-sized businesses
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
- Active Louisiana CPA license or eligibility
