Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance commentary
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during financial statement reviews
- Create budgets and forecasts for departmental leadership
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
