Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Ensure SOX compliance and regulatory filings accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff and develop department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience managing month-end close cycles
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
