Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger functions, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and budget reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
