Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Streamline internal financial controls and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a public accounting firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
