Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial systems
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with executive team on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead month-end closing processes and financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Indiana tax regulations
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
