Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with precision.
- Verify customer identification and ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations and anti-money laundering laws.
- Cash checks and issue accurate receipts for all financial transactions.
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding account balances, fees, and available services.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for our suite of financial products and services.
- Maintain a professional and organized work area, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree in finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check as part of the hiring process.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing speed are required.
