Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret changes in federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs for employees.
- Prepare and file necessary regulatory reports with government agencies in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve internal compliance inquiries and potential violations.
- Collaborate with legal and senior management to address complex compliance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, HIPAA, or state-specific laws).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFP, CFA, CPA, or CAM) is a plus.
