Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers with 100% accuracy.
- Greet all visitors warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries and explain banking products.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Open new customer accounts and assist in the cross-selling of bank products such as CDs, savings, and loans.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and secure teller workstation at all times.
- Identify opportunities to assist customers with financial needs beyond basic transactions.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, compliance policies, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a degree in Finance or Banking is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank teller software (e.g., FIS, FISERV).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
