Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements (BS, IS, CF) and executive reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal control implementation
- Lead financial analysis projects and support budget forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Maintain accurate tax filings and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel advanced functions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX audits and internal controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
