Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Conduct comprehensive audits and internal controls assessments
- Manage month-end/quarter-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and state/federal regulations
- Lead cross-departmental financial reporting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants on technical best practices
- Collaborate with tax department on strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in audit preparation and forensic accounting
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
