Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Develop and implement financial reporting systems for client portfolios
- Lead accounts payable/receivable teams and process vendor/client payments
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for corporate clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial data
- Immediate availability to start within 2 weeks
