Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to senior management.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
