Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead tax compliance initiatives including sales tax, payroll tax filings, and quarterly/annual reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial processes and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite) for seamless operations
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or private sector exposure
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, SAP)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience managing month-end close and audit processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
