Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage general ledger operations and reconciliation of high-volume accounts
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining impeccable documentation standards
- Streamline accounting workflows using advanced Excel and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license (required)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
