Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in internal and external audits.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and strict compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and process journal entries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is a significant plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
