We're urgently seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Apex Financial Partners. This is a critical role requiring immediate availability to manage complex financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll be instrumental in driving financial accuracy while supporting our rapid growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in public accounting or Big 4 environment
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings
