We're seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in London. This pivotal role will drive financial accuracy and strategic decision-making within our multinational organisation. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyse complex financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in UK tax regulations and compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven leadership experience in team management
