Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple client portfolios
- Prepare statutory accounts compliant with UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct complex financial analysis and variance reporting
- Oversee VAT returns and tax compliance submissions
- Implement process improvements using automation tools
- Mentor junior accountants and support team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/ACA/CPA essential
- 5+ years' post-qualification experience in practice
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks/SAP
- Deep knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC requirements
- Proven experience managing audit processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
