Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliations across bank accounts
- Develop and implement internal controls for audit readiness
- Collaborate with tax professionals on quarterly tax filings and planning
- Utilize NetSuite and QuickBooks for financial reporting and data analysis
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience in Illinois
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Illinois CPA license required
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
