Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize working capital management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
