Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for Washington DC government contractors
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes with GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audits and SOX 404 documentation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable for multi-state operations
- Develop financial models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with DC-based clients on budget forecasting
- Maintain compliance with federal procurement regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA certification required
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
- Experience with federal contracting or non-profit clients
- Proven track record in SOX 404 compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
