Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations including garnishments and tax filings
- Manage employee time-off requests and reconcile leave balances with HRIS systems
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll software
- CPP or FPC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax form filings
- Excellent communication skills for employee inquiries and stakeholder updates
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
