Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program that ensures adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards to update company policies and procedures accordingly.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate inspections and ensure timely reporting.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on compliance-related topics and ethical standards.
- Investigate and resolve any internal complaints or allegations of policy violations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities and regulatory filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field is required; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate compliance, risk management, or a related regulatory function.
- Certifications such as CCEP, CFE, or CFCP are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations applicable to the industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid work setting.
