Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits, risk assessments, and investigations to identify potential vulnerabilities or areas of non-compliance.
- Monitor changes in local, state, and federal regulations to ensure the organization remains up-to-date and compliant.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and external regulatory bodies as required.
- Train employees on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of integrity.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal auditing within the financial or technology sector.
- Strong working knowledge of regulations such as SOX, GDPR, CCPA, and FINRA rules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
