Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and internal company policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in operations.
- Develop, implement, and update compliance manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Prepare and submit detailed regulatory reports to government agencies and executive leadership.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including FINRA, SEC, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
