Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and approval decisions for commercial and consumer loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions for diverse clients
- Develop predictive models using financial analytics tools to forecast default probabilities
- Document all credit analysis activities in compliance with federal lending regulations
- Present complex financial findings to senior leadership through clear, actionable reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and credit scoring software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, FASB, and lending regulations (Regulations Z, B, C)
- Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) or equivalent designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently in remote settings with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication for producing comprehensive credit memos
