Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with FINRA, SEC, and CA state regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Provide guidance on regulatory changes and update policies accordingly
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Train employees on compliance protocols and ethical standards
- Prepare detailed reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams on compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services or tech
- Certification (CRCM, CCEP, or CCM) strongly preferred
- Expertise in CA state regulations and federal compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proven experience with remote team collaboration
