Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process and track payroll for multiple employees with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial audits.
- Ensure all financial data is up-to-date and compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is highly desired.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
