Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with tax preparation, including sales tax and local Oklahoma tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems and documentation for all financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
