Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Support budget planning and variance analysis for key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and assist with external audits as needed.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficient in using cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel functions.
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
