Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments on commercial and industrial loan applications
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends to evaluate creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and present recommendations to senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential risks
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes and implement compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk methodologies
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Professional certification (CRCM, CMB) a plus
