Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Assist in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA is a strong plus.
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and auditing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
