Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, CA labor laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end tax filings (W-2/1099)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and benefits administration
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Expert knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Strong understanding of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
