Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Software Name] with 100% accuracy.
- Calculate and process commissions, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
- Ensure all payroll data is compliant with federal (FLSA) and state regulations.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, deductions, and tax forms.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to identify and rectify errors.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to maintain updated employee records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, or Ceridian).
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA, state labor laws, and tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources; Bachelor's degree preferred.
