Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for all employees using ADP and QuickBooks systems.
- Calculate accurate payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits contributions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with year-end tax filings and W-2 issuance.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and HR documentation.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding pay.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a payroll, accounting, or administrative role is preferred but not required due to our paid training.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in complex data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
