Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (VA, FLSA, ACA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions
- Prepare and submit quarterly tax forms (941, 940, state unemployment)
- Respond to payroll inquiries with accuracy and professionalism
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee issues
- Maintain secure payroll records per SOX requirements
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred
- Basic math proficiency and attention to detail
- Willingness to complete paid 8-week training program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and data security
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
