Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and bill payments accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service for all in-branch inquiries.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure strict accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all bank security and safety protocols.
- Resolve customer account issues and escalate complex matters to branch management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; prior banking or cash-handling experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer knowledge.
