Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to resolve inquiries and resolve account issues.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining banking products to new clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line workspace.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and POS software.
