Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly and monthly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, and tax filings.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns (W-2s and 940s).
- Answer employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee information and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related finance role.
- Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or Workday preferred).
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and tax regulations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR is a plus.
