In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process and distribute payroll for over 200+ employees on a bi-weekly cycle.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, benefits deductions, and garnishments.
- Review timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial data.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations in Nevada and across the US.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to answer payroll-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, or Ceridian).
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, tax laws, and payroll tax reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
