Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including tax calculations and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/annual tax filings
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through data analysis
- Support year-end processes including W-2 generation and 1099 distribution
- Implement system enhancements and process documentation
- Partner with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll activities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Maryland payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- CPP certification or equivalent payroll designation preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication for stakeholder collaboration
