Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Prepare and submit year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and payroll reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and benefit changes
- Conduct quarterly payroll audits and document all processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience with multi-state exposure
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Deep understanding of FLSA, IRS, and DOL regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll software expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- PHR or CPP certification strongly desired
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
