Responsibilities
- Process and manage multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Enterprise system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including Form 940/941 filings
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Handle garnishments, benefits deductions, and union contributions accurately
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports for executive review
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and timekeeping systems
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24-hour SLA
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years of payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- ADP Enterprise certification or advanced proficiency in payroll software
- Expertise in FLSA, garnishment laws, and IRS compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Proven track record of 100% payroll accuracy in previous roles
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
