Responsibilities
- Process and administer weekly bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including Form 941, state unemployment, and local withholding
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare payroll reports for management and auditors
- Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records and timekeeping data
- Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and implement necessary adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP/Paychex systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, DOL regulations, and NM state labor laws
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and payroll software
- Proven track record of error-free payroll processing and tax filings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information
- Professional certification (CPP, FPC) preferred
