Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments
- Prepare and submit quarterly tax filings and year-end forms (W-2, 1099)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related processes
- Implement payroll system updates and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) preferred
- Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and tax laws
- Expert-level Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
