Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with evolving IRS regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve tax discrepancies
- Maintain accurate client documentation using ProSystem fx and CCH software
- Present findings to senior partners and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (internship acceptable)
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or CCH)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
