Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws and labor regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end tax filings
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and audit exceptions
- Prepare payroll reports for executive leadership and auditors
- Administer 401(k) and benefit plan contributions
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years payroll experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of multi-state tax laws and FLSA requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven track record in payroll audit resolution
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
