Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. You will ensure accuracy in reporting, manage complex accounts, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
