Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and identify variances.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and schedules.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain and organize financial records, supporting documentation, and filing systems.
- Assist in the annual audit process by gathering and reviewing requested data.
- Conduct general research on financial regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (graduates welcome).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data and numbers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.
